We're HERE!!

After 30+ hours traveling by plane and bus, we arrived in Iringa, greeted with a band; adults and children singing and dancing, and  lots of hugs and good wishes.  We were tired, hot and a little hungry, but a what a wonderfully warm and energizing welcome!  Following the band (in the back of a pickup truck) playing all the way, we drove through Iringa to the Lutheran Center where there was another welcome, more hugs and singing, and prayers of thanks for our completed journey.  We had time for quick showers and unpacking and then a very delicious supper.  By 10:00 pm, all were in their rooms and feeling very thankful and very blessed to be greeted by such wonderful friends in Iringa!
Today (Tuesday), we toured the Wiliosi Preaching Point and the progress made since the last time our group had visited.
Someone will try to post a blog everyday to keep everyone up-to-date on our activities.
Asante!  God's blessings to you as he has certainly bless our group!

Also, cotton, sisal, pine trees, alfalfa and pyrethrum.
